I didn't knew the time function, but if you do not need to operate
with the result (i.e. add 8 minutes to 8:15 so as to obtain 8:23 BTW
remember that time units are days, so to add 8 minutes you have to
divide by 24 and then by 60) concatenating strings is always handy:
A1: 8
B1: 15
C1: =a1 & ":" &
In case it matters, I updated my old bug report [0]
But what I really want is suggesting somenone with the right
permissions to add libreoffice's wiki what I wrote on the bug fill.

You might have to choose the appropriate format (Format > Cells > Number) for

might be the closer issue, but it also is marked closed. A viable workaround
is provided by the developer-- Andras Timar, who suggests a simple edit of the
3.5.0 installer with Microsoft's ORCA editor.

It is not your font, but LO. This issue is being worked on. The
problem is that EXPORT to PDF does not use your font, but one it
chooses. Right now, if LO does not have your font in its list of PDF
fonts, it substitute their font for yours.

Yes I have the same problem in LO 3.5, that was also present in LO 3.4.5. I
am running OSX 10.7.3.
My documents range from 50-100 pages in length that also include numerous
drawings and schematics. I will monitor the bug report when possible.

No problem here. I am running Win7 professional SP1 and have upgraded to
3.5.0 without any issues.
However, I still have the same issue of not being able to use the local help
pack. It appears to install but I directed to the online help. This is the
same as 3.4.5.

I was running LO3.4 on Kubuntu 11.10 and have just removed it and installed
LO3.5
During the install a message appeared saying something to the effect that no
jre was found.

There is a difference between "putting" them in the folder and
"installing" them. You click on the fonts and a window opens up and
then click on the "install" button. That places the font in the ".font"
folder and places references to it to all the other places needed for it
to work properl
I use LO in my everyday working life. Since I've updated LO to 3.5, it
crashes nearly each time I open a file in writer or calc and after that the
restore window freezes. I have to close it manually and relaunch the app.
And most of the time it crashes again.
