Dear all,
It is seemed that Oracle Java 1.7.0_04 is not compatible with
the Writer of LibreOffice 3.5.4.2 on the Windows platform XP + SP3. When
we click " File " --> " Send ", the Writer will be forced to get closed
even we use a new built user profile. If we use the old version

should be written:
(2+2i)(2-2i)
2*2 + 2*2i + -2*2i + (-4i^2)
=4 + (-4)(-1)

The problem was resolved by a sharp-eyed developer on the ooo-user list.
The result of 4 is correct.
2+i2 is 2 (because cell i2 is either empty or 0)
2-i2 is 2 (same reason).
(This is because Calc allows simplified direct references to cells.)
The result is 4.
Try =IMPRODUCT("2+2i";"2-2i");

IMPRODUCT() is suppose to calculate products of
complex numbers. However, its answers are not correct: only
the real portion of the complex numbers seem to be used.
=IMPRODUCT(2+i2,2-i2)
= 2*2+2*i2-2*i2-i2*i2
= 4 +i4 -i4 -(4) [i2*i2=-4]
= 8

Correction:
The required manifest:version="1.2" is required, for ODF 1.2 documents, on the
element (the root of META-INF/manifest.xml> and on the
having manifest:full-path="/".
Also, double-check all places where MIME Type strings are expressed, including
in the mimetype file of the package.

Hmm,
The META-INF/manifest.xml file does require a element

Hi :)
Errr, LibreOffice and most other programs that use ODF natively uses ODF 1.2
now. The 1.1 is really "old hat". It's the one that MS uses although they
have promised to use 1.2 in their new release (the one after MSO 2010)

Tom :)
