It works just fine on the phone. Of course it's pretty small but you can
make it full-screen and hide all the toolbars to get as much usable
space as possible. I've used it for serious work when I can't get to
anything with a bigger screen.

I have an existing Database in AOO 3.4.0 on PCLOS 2012-2 and have added
two new fields to my Table. They show up in both the Table Edit and
Table View.
When I open my front end Form in Edit Mode and select 'Add fields' the
two new fields _DO NOT_ show up in the list!!

Good move. It's a quick&easy way to fix the problem although you might want to
switch it back on again now the 2 words have been dealt with. The standard
dictionaries that come with LO occasionally cause other problems which Tim has
fixed for his dictionaries. His seem to be quite a lot
