Hi,
I have formatted my Heading 1 style to have a tab position. When I generate
the table of contents, the tab character I insert in the Heading 1 string is
automatically converted to a space character and as a result the alignment
of the TOC (with its correspondingly tweaked contents 1 style)

If I remember well...with LO you can compare two documents...and in
Ubuntu there are some programs to do the same
