Hi :) Has this been resolved yet?  I found ToCs difficult to understand at first but after playing around with them while reading the published guides (errr, and using another chapter of the published guides as a quick way of generating a document large enough to need a ToC) i found i did end up

Hi :) Try using the older Doc instead of the DocX.  DocX is very variable even between different versions of MS Office and between those different versions on different Operating Systems.  Pretty much all Doc files (for MS Office 97, 2000, Xp, 2003) look fine in just about any word-processor.
