Tom,
Believe you REALLY should get off of the 4.2.x branch and move onto the 4.3
now in alpha.
Devs have really put a lot of effort into exactly these issues for the 4.3
release.
First 4.3 alpha pre-release is

Hi :)
Tab normally moves forwards and
Shift and Tab
should move backwards. It works in most forms, spreadsheets and in Writer
tables too. The only time it doesn't work is in some Access forms or
Reports where the designer hasn't realised the significance and assumes
everyone uses a mouse.

Hey Mark,
Thank you! That works great. Before, I had gotten as far as selecting
the frame, but never thought of the tab key to move to the next frame.
Being an old DOS person, I am lost without my keyboard shortcuts. Never
did much like the mouse for this type of work - it seems like it

My apologies. I had asked about tables, and indeed, your information was
very useful. Thank you.
However, what I should have asked about was how to navigate on a page of
labels.
Sorry, I think when I look at the page, it looks like a table to me, so
I think of it that way. But in reality, it i

Hmm,
Is there a keyboard shortcut that will let me move from cell to cell in
a table in Writer? I can not find any mention of one in the help
section, and so far, the only way I know to move the cursor to the next
cell is to use the mouse.

Hi :)
Ahh, yeh. The check for updates is probably checking the repos of your
distro then or not really checking at all! Sorry about that! It does work
if you do get the version from your package manager but i only do that on
machines that are difficult for me to reach.

seems to be the best way of using Base and the default way of using it.
The idea is that Base then performs various functions through SQL code;

Hi :)

To clarify: the higher that 3rd digit the more stable the release is (that
is a bit of a simplification but it kinda works well).
So if stability is the main issue then the 4.1.6 is better than the 4.2.1.
The 1st and 2nd digits say more about features and advances in
compatibility with

Hi :)
There is no list or form. It's just a document.
You see words on the web-page? Some in different colours, some with
different colour backgrounds? That is the document!! Weird isn't it! You
can write straight into that page!!

I think it's the same with programmer training. Inevitably there are too
many variables or unknown factors that rarely occur.
One methodology to handle it is to "release early and release often" to get
"more eyeballs on the code". Even if people can't see the code itself or
