Hi :)
To contact the devs or websites teams directly you might need to look-up
details on the official site. I think the list of mailing lists is in the
"Get Help" page. I think the websites team is

Hi :)
There always seems to be a shed-load more devs working on Writer than any
other module. I think Calc and Draw are in around 2nd place although i
don't track these things.
There is much better software out there than Impress/Powerpoint for doing
the sorts of things they should be good at. I
Hey All,
I've noticed that LibreOffice does not remember the words that I add to
my dictionary when I open a new document that contains the same words I
just added in the previous document. Every new document does not
recognize the spelling of words that I have added when editing earlier

Good morning
I have this "problem" for years already.
When I perform a spellcheck (either in English or German), the
spellchecker frequently comes across terms that are NOT
in the dictionary, I do NOT wish to add and therefore would like to
"ignore all" instances in the document.
HOWEVER .. the sp

Hi,
I'm creating a simple API to CRUD simple .ods (calc) files.
I have a copy of the ODF/ODS standard but to be sure I get it right I
often check what LibreOffice
is generating in each case.
Unfortunately all the XML files (which make up the .ods files) aren't
formatted by LibreOffice so I have to
Interesting ...
I just tried what you suggested (using the 4.3 alpha), and I was indeed able
to then delete the table after adding data to a cell.
When I initially encountered the problem, I had also entered data into the
cells, but I did so solely by pasting data into several cells. It doesn't

Heinrich,
Yes, I forgot that the backed-up SQL first drops the table to be
restored and then recreates it before loading the data. My mistake.
That makes the process even simpler.
I do not know much about the JDBC connector either. Have you tried the
Oracle website or a search engine (goog

Someone asked me offline (or is that back channel?) to provide examples of

Hello Alex,
As far as I can see - yes. Mostly the numbers are integers, however (as is to be
expected for bought items) there are also numbers such as 335,80 (comma =
decimal
point in our locale) and these are shown correctly in LO-Base.

Having inserted a table via Insert > Table, any of Brian's suggestions
work for me to delete it in 4.0.4.2 and 4.2.

Yes, I am able to download LO from other sites (as well as other software,
images, etc.) ...
I have not tried any other browsers. If I get a chance maybe I will; if so,
I'll see what happens with LO.
I have default preferences set; the downloads always go into the /Downloads

Thanks for caring to answer, Girvin!
I use mysqldump to dump all tables and views from the server and then "restore"
the resulting sql-text-file on my local machine. During this process I actually
drop the database and then recreate it from a "tabula rasa". It seems to me that
this should take car

His name also came up in the search I performed. I was going to hedge

I should've hedged. :-)
