My initial thought is that the bug is the Thai specific one, that was allegedly fixed back around OOo 2.0 - 2.2 My laptop is acting up, otherwise I'd test it out. (The fix is to reinstall Linux. Which i hope I'll be able to do by the end of the month.) The developer's documentation for OOo 1.x
