Hi, Thanks for your reply! Yes, playing the videos in VLC works. I was more interested in finding a solution for less technical users (I'm not a Windows user myself), and possibly filing bug reports if this was a new problem. Anyway, as I understand it LO on Windows uses DirectShow for video, but Microsoft no longer uses these filters, so the old adage that if it works in Windows Media Player it is also supported in LibreOffice isn't true any longer. I did make sure to install DirectShow filters for H264 (ffdshow), but I'm not sure how to make sure that they are working. I'm not even sure how well it does work with the filters installed, there are a lot of "No" on this page: https://wiki.documentfoundation.org/Media_Support/Windows/Video_Tests -- Cheers, Sven Arvidsson http://www.whiz.se PGP Key ID 6FAB5CD5 -- To unsubscribe e-mail to: users+unsubscr...@global.libreoffice.org Problems? http://www.libreoffice.org/get-help/mailing-lists/how-to-unsubscribe/ Posting guidelines + more: http://wiki.documentfoundation.org/Netiquette List archive: http://listarchives.libreoffice.org/global/users/ All messages sent to this list will be publicly archived and cannot be deleted
