Automatic backups are nice, but I found out the hard way that files backed up
from one computer can not always be restored to another computer, or even to an
updated drive or operating system on the same computer.
And since I know that any electronic device will fail at some point, I usually
Could someone please post a link to the discuss list? I am not sure I am

Is there a keyboard shortcut that will let me move from cell to cell in
a table in Writer? I can not find any mention of one in the help

I am using LO version 4.2.1.1 on Windows 8.
Now for the next question. On a page of labels (specifically
Avery_8160), is there a keyboard shortcut to move from label to label?

On 5/1
, it is a page of labels that I am
trying to navigate.
The arrow keys only move me around within each label, and the tab key
just inserts a tab into the text of the label.

Ctrl+Home takes you to first table cell

me to use the touchscreen than to reach for the mouse. :-)

Hi Joel,
Well, I am in the Mid-west, so it would be kind of far to travel just to
say Hello, but I would be happy to help if there is something you
think I can do.

In the past, I have always just made separate entries in both

the software knows to adjust the spacing. So I
would say that with the modern text editors, the proper procedure would
be to just use a single space and let the software handle the spacing.
If you forget and use a double space, well, I guess the software will
handle that too. ;-)

Programming, I would answer that by saying it should not matter how it

I switched to Libre Office mostly because I was so thrilled with the
documentation. How nice to hear that it is being updated along with the
software.
I do not read or speak German but would be happy to help proofread an
English version.
How do I go about joining the Docs Team?
