When I downloaded LibreOffice 3.3.3 I was led to believe that "[LibreOffice] Writer easily reads Microsoft Word documents, and you can also save your work in Microsoft Word format, for sending to people still locked into Microsoft products" and that "/LibreOffice can also open .docx files created with Microsoft Office 2007 for Windows or Microsoft Office 2008 for Mac OS X/." This is not the case: I converted a pdf file to docx (on Adobe's website) but LibreOffice crashes every time I try to open it -- can anyone help (or is this merely a case of false advertisement on the part of LibreOffice)?
