Have you tried to uninstall 3.4.x (and perhaps restart Windows)
*before* installing 3.5.0?
I have thought of that as well, but had not taken time to do that.
Keep the Tom's suggest to wait the 3.5.1 or 3.5.2 if you are not a
power user.

I would stick with the 3.4 until 3.5.1 is released. There seems to have been a
few problems with the 3.5.0 release this week. On the other hand to make sure
the problem gets fixed it might be worth posting a bug-report about it!
