Readers, Admittedly, never read previously the DF posting guidance (http://wiki.documentfoundation.org/Netiquette) until reference was made in an OO mailing list to the OO posting guidance (http://www.openoffice.org/ml_guidelines.html). Personally, the OO guidance is better, although it should also cite Nimmich's famous web page 'learn to quote' as shown for LO.
Suggest that similar text in the OO document is aded to the LO guidance document. In the meantime, novice users should read both guidance documents :) Interestingly, those who disregard the rules for the LO users list appear to abide by the rules for the LO discuss list...wonder why? -- Unsubscribe instructions: E-mail to users+h...@libreoffice.org In case of problems unsubscribing, write to postmas...@documentfoundation.org Posting guidelines + more: http://wiki.documentfoundation.org/Netiquette List archive: http://listarchives.libreoffice.org/www/users/ All messages sent to this list will be publicly archived and cannot be deleted
