I have a spreadsheet downloaded from my bank. I changed the first col to format date MM/DD/ but when I sort the sheet it is still sorting the first col as if it were text, starting with 01/01/2020 and ending with 12/31/2019 (in ascending order). I can't figure out what is wrong.

I originally reported this against 3.60 (I think), but now I have the refined detail. I do my expense balances in a spreadsheet with a header line. One of the columns is called What, which is how I categorize my expenses. If I sort the data and the first sort key is the What column, even though
