Hi :) This seems to be a well known problem.  The latest version of Java that works seems to be around 1.6_32, ie the latest in their 1.6 branch.  TDF are trying to write-out any dependance on Java as it seems far tooo flaky and vulnerable these days.  About the only things you still need Java
