All you did was to let this mailing list know about the things they do that are causing demages to your reputation. But how many people are on this mailing list? And what else can _YOU_ do other than sending more emails to this mailing list about things they do that are causing problems? From their website, they don't have an office in UK, so are you going to USA and sue them in court? Do you have enough money to pay for the expensive lawyers?
So I don't think you can do anything to stop them. Learning from the experience of the Linux community, we need a more effective way than just discussing on mailing lists. If you google search microsoft+linux+fud, you can find lots of references. This is what end users find when they want to know about Windows vs Linux, and with those people in general know that when Microsoft talks about Linux, they need to discount most of the claims. We also need to monitor all the sales talks from Univa, and encourage people to submit all the materials (whether FUD or not) used in Univa sales talks to a central website.
