Very useful Cameron and Joshua, thanks again for taking the trouble to
Hi,
Everyone have a experience with Olesen Flexlm integration method (

I setup qlicserver, but it has some memory leak - ca 200 MB by day.

Hello, Michael.
I think you will spend more time configuring and troubleshooting grid
engine on mac than it is worth. Your time is very expensive compared to
purchasing an additional Linux server, or I would suggest setting up ssh
keys to interact remotely with the Linux cluster. That said, I ha
Hi,
I am a little confused about the consumable h_vmem setup on the node and
the queue. Let's say we have one queue, called a.q, spans two host, h1
and h2. h1 has 32GB of ram and h2 has 128GB.
I attached h_vmem to both hosts, using the value of actual physical ram,

submits them) without issue. Thanks!

Dear Gavin
Thank you for your information. Yes the natural way would be to get a
linux computer but I already have a large 320 cores cluster already. The
idea I had was to have the Gridengine running om my laptop for testing and
then when doing the more longer calculations (I am working with Monte
Hi,
Does that make sense to make a complex value consumable but not requestable
(using qconf -mc)? There are cases that we do not want users override the
default value, for example, h_vmem.
Thanks.
