Hello all,
the problem is solved. It turned out that the cgi application had a bug that
caused error messages to be injected into the downloaded file. I guess this
caused some checksum on length validation check to send a RST ACK package
back. Why this did not happen with other files I must

Hello,
I am trying to compile Apache. I did download the latest version of the
sourcecode (2.2.17). This is what I do:
sudo ./configure --prefix=/usr/local/apache2 --with-included-apr
--enable-mods-shared=all --enable-module=so
sudo make
and here I get

mod_filter that always attempts substitution in text/* content. It's
configured roughly like this:
LoadModule substitute_module modules/mod_substitute.so
LoadModule filter_module modules/mod_filter.so
FilterProvider gzinflate INFLATE
I solved the problem by downloading a fresh installation and executed the same
comands and, voiala, it worked. I must have destroyed som file during may
effort trying to solve the problem.
