Haven't tried it myself, but maybe look into Icecast. It will stream ogg-theora (open source). Don't know about other formats. But with other formats you potentially have licensing issues. Or not, depending on how you're producing your videos. Anyway, Icecast is also open source & free and may suit the bill.
