Hi All,

I am curious. Is Apache designed such that if a
request comes back quickly from a server it passed the
request to that and if the client connected to Apache
is slow in disconnecting for some reason (internet qos
for example) we can deduce it is a client or internet
issue?
I would think the sockets connected to say a App
server like maybe Tomcat are independent to some
degree from the sockets the client uses on Apache so
if you have a fast App server the network path from
Apache to Tomcat (assuming Tomcat on a different
physical box) that is not affected even if the client
does not disconnect right away due to perhaps the
network from Apache to the client or a very slow
client.

Just curious.
