to delve into the data. I’ll take your word for it that the whole setup worked
in 3.8.0 and I encourage you to try simplifying the entity map perhaps by

to read in triples from a file. Unfortunately, I am seeing the error below,
caused by trying to add data using ja:externalContent. If I comment out
that line, everything works fine.

The pcap file I sent you is the proof that Jena delivers inconsistent
data. You may open it with Wireshark
or read it with tcpick:
