I've been playing with kannel, which sounds great, but I'm having problems
getting a response out of the server.
I compiled kennel 1.2.1 under cygwin (winnt4 sp6a), which went fine.
I am running bearerbox and wapbox with the following config (not much

Is it possible to redirec all request from Kannel to a proxy?
we have an intranet and we have to pass through a proxy to access to
public sites,, other question is: Is it possible to known the MSISDN's
who is accessing to kannel?

Just downloaded CVS version 20021117 and installed on Redhat 7.3 and
8.0.
I have done some basic tests on our MMSC server for upload and download
of MMS message.
Our handsets is T68i.
Submission and downloading of MMSC message size between 10 to 20 KB=> OK

If you mean determining the sender of the incoming sms, yes. You can
create a sms-service for that.

I;ve been succes implement kannel, but till now I still confuse how to
stop automatic reply from kannel where some user send sms to
kannel/smsbox?

I am using Nokia PPG at the moment to push the MMS notification to the
handset:( Will look into putting Kannel PPG to replace the existing PPG.

it into a temporary header so that it can pass this header to the MMSC
