Nokia 5110 does not work as modem, what you need is
Nokia 7110/6210 and may other models. Check old messages in mailing list, you
will get to know many model which works with kannel

We have succeeded in implementing SMS service with
Gnokii + Nokia 5110.
Can we use the same phone (Nokia 5110) with kannel
as SMS gateway ?
