the question is - are your are adding these UDH values manually? if your need to split
your text into several messages,
it's called concatenation (as I wrote before) and all the job is done by Kannel, just
put max-messages = 2 (or more) in
sendsms-user section.

Hello everyone,
i have writte a little perl script that creates OTA-Config-SMS
(in hex format) for Nokia and SonyEricsson phones. I also want
to send OTA-Config-SMS (or what they call it for Siemens phones)
to Siemens phones but i cant find any documentation about it.
It seems that it is not WAP-P
Sorry for mixing your head, I need smsbox log file, where Sent/Receive
messages are logged.
And maybe you could paste the whole url your are trying to send with?

Firstly, concatenation should have a boolean value, i.e. true/false.

Hi,
obviously you are talking about concatenation of messages longer than 160
chars.
There are "concatenation" and "max-messages" parameters with might be
interesting for you. See userguide for details.

I don't think the problem is with OTA format, we have the same problem when
request the OTA(WAP settings) from operator, we only receive the first part.

Are you sending correct UDH values for OTA & concatanated messages??
Usually, OTA PDU does not fit into single SMS, so have to send two sms with
UDH like this
1st SMS -> 0B 05 04 C3 4F 00 00 00 03 C2 02 01
2nd SMS -> 0B 05 04 C3 4F 00 00 00 03 C2 02 02

When we send Multi-Part WAP OTA Settings, the phone only receive the first
part of the concatenated SMS, Does anyone know what we should do to receive
all the parts of the OTA SMS messages?
We tried sending SMS Delivery Report as well as TP-ACK, but nothing helped.
