"send={udh-headers}{payload}" so i dont have to break up the messages.

I've been finding something very weird when using Kannel over SMPP.
Sending a message causes the destination phone to receive gibberish
unless I set coding=2 (8-bit coding according to the manual), whence I
obtain a readable message. On the other hand, all the data I receive

I am currently facing the need to establish SMPP connections to another
Mobile Operator as a client (initiate the SMPP BIND operation to the SMPP
server of theirs). This is because they think both operators should share
the responsability on keeping those links available all the time. B
kannel,as a client, binds the connection to smpp server once and them uses
the same to exchange the PDUs thereafter.
but sorry, kannel is NOT an SMPP server.
