sorry. no sample for concatenated sms. I wrote one program to
deliver multi-part sms for SMPP but seems to have lost somewhere.
but if you are sending concanated sms using kannel, kannel will
handle that for you. otherwise you are on your own. Handle that
programmatically.

In general, UDH is like this.
1 byte - udh length ( 0b i.e 11 bytes that follow)

Hi, Currently, I'm developing a SMS application using kannel-1.2.0-3.i386 on Red Hatv9.
Everything is going fine with the fakeSMSC. However, when I tried using Nokia 6210 as
the SMSC the bearerbox won't start. Below is my config file & the sample run: CONFIG FILE: group = core admin-port = 13000
Hi,
Do you know the udh header for long messages or if the sms is over 160
chars. The telco ask me insert it so that concatenation of the sms will be
done by their smsc. Is it possible with kannel?
Thanks,
mikez
I use a Wavecom Modem and it
supports more verbose ME (Mobile Equipment) error reporting by issuing the
command AT+CMEE=1.
Can I have Kannel to issue this command every time it
starts?

Hi List
In regards to the Kannel delivery report, I understand we have to set the
DLR masks and the URL to track the status while sending the message.
My question is
How to track the delivery status of the sms-service
responses?
e.g.group = sms-servicekeyword = www
What is the udh code for long message?
Thanks
Actually Not yet, because they said that their implmentation is conform to
V34.
but that's a good idea to try, will try later when there's a chance
Thanks,
Any other suggestion?
