I have a very strange, nasty behaviour of kannel right now :
I am sending a newsletter over SMS, but I jhust noticed that the
system is sending out quite a number of messages which are not normal:
it sents out to some numbers 2 messages, instead of one :
The Normal one :

The second one is a DLR message. Please check the setting of your dlr-url.
You can remove it from the configuration file if you don't need it.

Kannel has a flaw in that if the bearerbox is up but the smsbox is down,
SMSs will be lost.
They will not be retried as only the smsbox handles the retries.
Does anyone have a script they can send to the user list that they are
prepared to share, to ensure the smsbox is up.

I've fixed the problem setting charset to utf-8 and coding to 2.

But, personally i dont understand the coding role in all this.
Why udf-8 doesnt work, it should have coding=2
am working with other charsets without touching coding.
