Hello, I am using kannel 1.4.1 on a CentOS system; I am able to send/receive normal sms using kannel. Now I want to send Wap push containing URL for my application. I searched internet where one gentleman has suggested sending WAP push as hex coded message with udh. This is what I am submitting to kannel
http://localhost:13014/cgi-bin/sendsms?username=XXXXX&password=XXXX&text=%01 %06%04%03%AE%81%EA%02%05%6A%00%45%C6%0C%03%00%03210.211.167.113%2Fmain.php%0 0%01%01&to=919910794449&from=53535&udh=%06%05%04%0B%84%23%F0% Note: The link which I want to push is "http://210.211.167.113/main.php."; Now this is coming as a normal WAP push(service message) to Nokia 7250i, but when I trying to send this wap push to other handsets(sony-ericsson z520,nokia 6600,nokia 6681), nothing is coming(no sms, no wap push). I am getting positive delivery report (type=1) from SMSC for these messages which means these wap push which I am sending are getting delivered, but somehow it is not displayed by the handset. am I using wrong format to send Wap push? Any help would be appreciated..
