Hi,
Mysql storage is temporary, i.e. used only for processing. You should define an
external dlr-url in sendsms-service or sendsms-user or the url of the sms
itself if you need a permanent DLR storage. Note that it is your responsibility
to provide this external DLR storage. Otherwise you can a

Hi,
Please do not split topics, else it is very confusing and difficult to help
you.
Assuming that E W200i is USB mobile phone. If it supports AT commands, it
works with kannel. Go to manufacturer's site to check.

Yes, assuming you know the parameter address, you could get it using
meta-data. You need latest CVS, though.

Hi,
My smpp is passing me the OptOperatorCode when passing me a message, I
was wondering does kannel support this and is there a way to pass this
code on via the sms-service.
Kind regards
Wilhelm

in short:
1. check if the package installed is complied with start-stop-daemon option
2. if yes, find where is it and either fix the script either put it in the
proper location ...
3. its not Kannel related issue, it is a box administration issue.
anyway, I paste here comment from alejandro guerr
I found a script startup and I put it in /etc/init.d/. However, I can't seem to
find the start-stop-daemon file when I start the kannel with service kannel
start where kannel is my script name.
The following is my output:
Starting bearer service (gateway kannel 1.40): /etc/init.d/kannel: line 4
