My Falcom (Samba55 USB) finally got connected to the box...
But theres another error which am not able to rectify.
While sending sms i get:

I am able to detect Modem on the OS. Getting output in dmesg and /proc/bus/usb/devices.
But when i configure the same in Kannel am gettingOpening failed. Terminating error as follows:

Am getting following error when trying to connect to an SMSC. Could not understand the error as Client is getting connected then I get an error which means SMSC could not be Binded. Pls help what can be the reason.

Am compiling Kannel 1.4.0 on Red Hat Linux release 9 (Shrike).
The steps are as follows. But after configure when i do make am getting following errors,
1. ./configure --enable-start-stop-daemon
Doesnt give any errors
2. make
Gives error:
gcc -D_REENTRANT=1 -I. -Igw -D_XOPEN_SOURCE=600

When i went through the faq of the kannel site, got the info that * Nokia Premicell * Siemens M20 * Wavecom WM02-G1800 modemwill support Kannel.
Can anyone suggest any other devices for the same purpose.
