How may I send BINARY MESSAGES via kannal? I am able to send those if I
provide UDH (&udh=) but I want to send some text as binary sms without
specifying UDH. How this can be done?

You need to use PPG. The wapbox is just used to compile the PAP XML to
"correct format", it's then forwarded as SMS to the device.
When the phone retrieves the URL, it does it based on it's own
configuration, so it can use HTTP directly or WAP Gateway as proxy. In later
case the wapbox can be used

find some details regarding sending GSM 3.40 details in the SMS PDU.
I would like to send binary SMSs using the Kannel SMS Gateway. I'd
like to use the gateway as it is described in the User Guide i.e. the

think is very good. It is a guide for newbies, you guys probably
already know most about the topic, but since this list is a lot about
SMS, I thought it would be good to p
For windows try the following SMPP clients:
NowSMS
SMSC Client.net
Ozeki SMS gateway
The above are very easy to configure and use for even binary sms.
Kannel on windows could work with CygWIn but the porting will take you
through hell.

Well, it is true that kannel gateway lives happier in *nix. However, you can
always send binary SMS from your windows PC, through your browser, by
accessing its sendsms URL.
