Hi All, I am using Kannel 1.4.5, installed using Apt on a vanilla Debian Buster, with a Siemens MC35i GSM Modem connected by a USB>RS232 converter.
Yesterday I had all the daemons working, can still check STATUS & SEND an SMS using HTTP and/or Curl, however the SMS will only ever be queued, never sent. I am reasonably confident that the SMSBOX/SMSC configs are correct, however there seems to be an issue with the BEARERBOX. I have done extensive searching of the "DEBUG: Got ACK (0) of c0d936e0-741a-42d9-9d0e-3ec3d9c92741" string inconjunction with "mc35i" and believe that the modem strings are functional. Can anyone see a glaring deficiency or another possible route to investigate? My view is that the BEARERBOX is not being made available to manage the SMS from the SMSBOX, and hence Kannel just queues, then discards the SMS. Regards, Queye.
