Guillaume, your are right.
Abbas, an sms center is all you need for high volume sms termination. Plus
you get a cheaper deal than your local operators. I once recommended a
similar SMS CENTER for you recently.
Falko, I am not really convinced any local GSM operator can give you a
cheaper rat
In some countries you can get SMS flatrates. If you are above a certain
threshold the gsm-modem is much cheaper than a smsc-connection (but with
lower qualitiy - e.g. custom sender).

Why not to use a sms center ? Presently I use clickatell which allows to
connect kannel via http or smpp. It should be cheaper and faster (and
international) than gsm modem... Actually I only think about gsm modem
for testing purpose, but maybe I'm wrong ... ?

Hello,
basically the process to send a sms is 6 to 8 seconds, so it will be
difficult to handle 1000+ sms per hour, or you have to several ones.
