This is more something for a nowsms/NET_SMPP mailinglist.
They "should" be able to request a dlr. But you have to ask there how to do
it.

Subject: SMPPBOX SMPP Clients

Hi Group,

I have successfully configured opensmpp box. This can receive MT messages
from smpp clients and send the through my HTTP SMSC to the real world.

Small question is when a smpp client connects, such as nowsms or a perl
module e.g NET_SMPP. These clients put in the SMSC settings details for my
smppbox and connect fine. However how do these request a dlr?

I know that if I had another kannel instance acting as a client, in the
request to smpp box you can add a dlr-mask request on the initial request.
But what about the clients that don't have options to specify a dlr mask,
has any one had any experience with this? or similar? what setups have you
found that work ?

Obviously the dlr comes back from the SMSC but cannot find a matching dlr in
the table as the smpp client hasn't requested for it initially.

I welcome your thoughts.

Lee
