Hi bw t, I had (perhaps) similar problem that You are having now.
I configured kanned and was able to send MT, but couldnt receive MO. My problem was uncomplete configuration, i.e. I defined only port, because I understood that receiver port needed to be defined if it is different than port, but it needs to be defined anyway. So, my original configuration was (MO not working): host = xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx port = 15002 MO started working when I added receive-port: host = xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx port = 15002 receive-port = 15002 Hope this helps, :)Marko -----Original Message----- From: bw t [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Sent: 29. marraskuuta 2004 6:23 To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Subject: UCP/EMI-Able to send MT but unable to receive MO Hi all, We are working on connecting to a UCP/EMI SMSC with Kannel logically between our App server and the SMSC. Our App server and Kannel managed to send MTs but unable to receive MOs from the SMSC. The telco told us that we need to "bind" to their SMSC "permanently" once we start up our servers. They said to do that, we need to send 2 EMI Operation 60s - 1 to bind to them for MO and 2nd one to bind to them for MT. How do we do that ? How do we solve the prob of not being able to receive MO from the SMSC ? Thanks a million. bw t _________________________________________________________________ Are you in love?
