Hello,
I have question if you could multibox kannel in one computer?
And how to set up 2 servers with one database to load balance the
sending of SMS?

Hi,
I’m not aware of Mighty text. At first glance it looks to me as a product for
different purpose. Kannel is mainly used as a gateway tied to an SMSC on one
side and the content provider on the other for processing large volumes of SMS.
Yes, modem usage is possible for personal SMS based
on
their phone and a web browser plugin on the their computer. How could I
duplicate that setup? Are they using something like Kannel or a different
setup? Thanks!

Everything works when my XML is very small, and everything can be send in 1

But if my XML is large, and needs to be split in 2-3 SMSes, then it fails

Doesn't Kannel automaticaly split OTA WAP SMS?

Hi,
what I mean, is there a possibility in Asterisk to call HTTP url instead of

If there is a possibility , then it should be used with smsbox or http smsc

Kannel structs and compile a new plugin each time kannel changes its internal
asterisk to send
sms is by using app_sms which only sends sms using an external modem
(no smpp and other protocols that kannel supports).

Hello, All!
I ask for advice/recommendations in the question of counting SMS traffic.
I have a connected bearerbox to several smpp upstreams, opensmppbox is
connected to bearerbox, and several smpp clients are connected to
opensmppbox.
How can I count the number of sms sent by the opensmppbox

Subject: Kannel Store increases

Users,
When we are sending MT SMS about 5 lakhs or more , the kannel store is

We experience this with two independent SMPP providers. However, it
does not happen on every automatic reconnect. Could it be a
configuration issue?

it. They are re-routed by Kannel internally through a different link.
We experience this with two
I think you should try using below parameter by setting value as "no"

to autodetect the source address, turn this off, by setting it to no.

Hi
Tried to set in config
source-addr-ton = 1
source-addr-npi = 1
dest-addr-ton = 1
dest-addr-npi = 1
Checked dump, get
TON (orig) = 0x05 Alphanumeric
NPI (orig) = 0x00 Unknown

How to set TON / NPI?
Hello everyone,
I have implemented the kannel protocol box (available here -
https://github.com/badlee/kannel.js), I would like to be listed on the page
"Additional programs for Kannel".
How to do?

a DB, after process it
Hope this give you some help.
