Wireless USB slow to connect

I'm using a Linksys wireless usb on a machine with Fedora 12. Sometimes it takes 40 to 50 minutes to to get the connected to the 'ee' network I want. A Windows XP box that has a different wireless adaptor is able to connect to the 'ee' network without any problem. Any suggestions on how to decrea

The freedesktop.org web site has masses of documentation on PolicyKit explaining in excrutiating detail all sorts of xml configuration. Meanwhile, no rpm with "polkit" in the name has installed any xml files on fedora 12. So whats up with that? Did they completely redesign PolicyKit and not bothe

firefox flash plugin duplicates!

I discovered that when I used the firefox plugin checker at http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/plugincheck/ I noticed that despite having updated the flash-plugin via yum and that the rpm -q flash-plugin command showed I had the latest version, the web page showed that I did not have the latest version!
