Here's what I did: * Invoked System Settings -> Workspace Behavior -> Virtual Desktops * Set the name of a desktop to null using the pen and backspace key * Hit Apply The system is now well and truly locked up; the best way out seems to be a reboot. System is: Operating System: Fedora Linux
