I hit same issue today. Then updated 'kde-plasma-networkmanagement'
from 'updates-testing' and the issue went away.

KDE-4.5 works very well on my Fedora-13 (32 bit). So don't worry.

Can you try this once in /etc/sysconfig/desktop
DESKTOP="KDE"
DISPLAYMANAGER="KDE"

Hi List,
Sound was working for me when I did a fresh installation of F12. But
after some updates, it broke. Could anyone guide me in restoring sound
in my F12.

Hi List,
Since my upgrade to F12, I am not seeing Akonadi running. Even its
configuration option is not present in 'System Settings > Advanced'.
Moreover I am seeing Akonadi resource options in 'KAddressbook' etc.
Did I miss some package while upgrading to F12?
Thanks,
seen for yum update might take me from fc10 to fc12.

Is it so? I think it will give you an option to upgrade to F11 as well.
Please correct me, if I am wrong.
Thanks,
