I'm trying to upgrade my F15 system using the F17 installation DVD, but
it's failing with this error right at the start of the screen where it
starts to install/upgrade packages and has the progress bar. I did the
verify install disk thing and it said it was fine too.

...and it's making dates come out in a weird format,
e.g. Jun 7 13:31 -- ሠንየ 7 13:31
Is there someway or file I can edit to set $LANG back to the default or
something? This started to happen after upgrading from F14 - F15.
In KDE I tried going to System Settings - Locale - Country Region
