When right clicking on Desktop to get a Window open to "Leave"
OR
Left Clicking on K Menu
The windows disappears one Second after you click on them , you can't
keep them open long enough to click on anything.
This happens while using a PS/2 or USB mouse.

some of the Fonts are now bad, all you get is tiny boxes where
characters are supposed to be.
I assumed there is a newer Windows Font package that Wine does not have .
Can Winetricks update new Windows Fonts ?

Trying to play Video DVD on Ywo different Netbooks with Two different
external USB DVD drives.
Two different Video DVD's and I get the Same Error message;
Playback failure:
DVDRead could not open the disc "/dev/dvd".
Your input can't be opened:
VLC is unable to open the MRL 'dvd:///dev/
If your using a External USB CD/DVD on a Mini-Laptop , I would suggest
you connect it to the Mini-Laptop before installing Fedora.
So auto settings can be made to set DVD=/dev/sr0

Every so often I get one of these DAMN Windows Virus testers while
Online with Firefox and I can't stop it , I have to do a
ctrl-alt-backspace to get out of it. and even tho I long back in Firefox
wants to automatically restart the test , without asking me if I want to

I have a friend that lives in a different State and wants F14 Installed
on a second Sata hard drive , behind Vista.
Would it be better to use Vista's boot procedures or grubs at Boot startup.
And if so, where would I find instructions on setting it up in Vista.

Today my Thunderbird-3.1.7 crashed and sent all my 1500 emails to the
Trash Can. Thunderbird was taking so long to compact and other
things it had to do and locking up my desktop and Web Browser.
In Fedora is there a better email Browser ?

As User if you set resolution to the size you want and accept , after
Logging out of User and then log back in , the resolution setting has
changed. How do you as User lock in setting so it will not change.

A Sony Vaio will not let me boot on cdrom with a Crashed Windows OS,
trying to install Fedora only on laptop. Even if I have BIOS set to
boot off Cdrom.
I even hooked a external cdrom to usb and enabled in Bios to be first
boot device, won't work, in all cases it will only Attempt to Load

yum update can connect to network and do updates.
firefox and thunderbird can also connect to network

I have a backup drive at sdb1 a Vfat (fat32) partition a USB hard drive
that before upgrading from Fedora 13 to Fedora 14 , the owner was
Michael , but after upgrade it is now owned by root. all the backup
files are Linux files.

the price range of $200 - $400 price range. any recommendations ?
Don't want any more Samsung printers they don't care about Linux support.

The Print drivers I have for My Samsung Color Laser CLX-3175FN just
won't work in Fedora 17 or 18 because of Glibc updated packages.
The printer worked great on Fedora 15.
The foo2qpdl driver will work for this printer
with the
scanner
nor with the sane backend.
Scanner: FUJITSU ScanSnap S1300
Xsane version: 0.998
Sane version: 1.0.23
simple-scan version: 3.6.0
KDE: 4.10.1
Fedora-18 with all updates.
Jim, have you tried iscan? If it has enough features to be useful it
might behave better.
