Just got completely switched over to Fedora 40 and was dismayed to discover gnome-control-center reporting no sound devices at all. Not the onboard built in sound, and not the HDMI sound I wanted.
After much googling, I found this web page: https://discussion.fedoraproject.org/t/f40-regression-internal-audio-output-device-not-found/109495 And the suggestion in there worked. rm -rf ~/.local/state/wireplumber reboot So I don't have to switch back to fedora 39 :-). -- _______________________________________________ users mailing list -- users@lists.fedoraproject.org To unsubscribe send an email to users-le...@lists.fedoraproject.org Fedora Code of Conduct: https://docs.fedoraproject.org/en-US/project/code-of-conduct/ List Guidelines: https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Mailing_list_guidelines List Archives: https://lists.fedoraproject.org/archives/list/users@lists.fedoraproject.org Do not reply to spam, report it: https://pagure.io/fedora-infrastructure/new_issue
