Midnight commander: ALT+ENTER does no longer work

Hei, upgraded to F16 (from F15) today. Now, mc lost its ALT+ENTER and CTRL+ENTER functionality to paste text into the command line (like ESC+ENTER does). I recompiled with "--with-x" (which is not standard in Fedora) and got back the CTRL+ENTER combination, but not ALT+ENTER. Does anybody know
