- An NAS (Iomega) which supports both NFS and CIFS. Call it N.
- A Fedora 25 desktop running Samba. Call it D.
- A Windows 10 VM (QEMU/KVM) running on D. Call it W.
I want to use N as a backup server for W, however W cannot see shares
on N. It complains about permissions. N runs a pretty
