Hi All,
Fedora 35
redshift-1.12-13.fc35.x86_64
geoclue2-2.5.7-6.fc35.x86_64
If I manually start geoclue
# systemctl start geoclue.service
as root, redshift can communicate with
geoclue2 and redshift works fine.
But redshift can not start geoclue,
unless geoclue was started as root first

Can I use redshift without geoclue2 ?
Yes
Go into
~/.config/redshift.conf
and set it to manual and set start and stop times
If you really, really want the magic to work and geoclue fails you

Not sure about Dropbox, but RedShift is a known issue. Redshift's model doesn't
work under Wayland, the default session in F25. The same idea as RedShift has
been / is working on being integrated into upstream Gnome and will work its way
down to users in a future update. It still works under X

not Redshift and on the other, I don't have the slide-out drawer at
all. According

screen color depending on the time of day. As the hours drag away into the
night, they will move deeper and deeper into a warm, reddish shade (hard to
describe, try it out), which is very easy on your eyes. I find it much
