So, I keep getting this message:
Unable to send message to PackageKit
when I go into yum.
Looking through the archives, it was suggested that one should have
PackageKit-yum and PackageKit-yum-plugin if not, we should install.
I did have it, but I went an did a
sudo yum reinstall

Nothing, it usually means one of PackageKit yum deps is missing.
sudo rpm -qa | grep PackageKit-yum

While I am at it, I have an incomplete yum transaction that I do not
want to complete. Does anyone know how to get yum to forget about it?

search results in nothing appropriate. Can I just ignore this
