I was able to pass the files I needed by creating an ISO image and mounting
it as a new CDROM.
Now I am still battling with the network problems.
Google loads (http://www.google.com) and search results are displayed also,
but any other website is not shown.

Ok, Virtualization history continues.
Made a new connection and changed the emulator to i386 and the vga to
cirrus.
Now I can get the Display up to 1280 x 1024 and 24 bit colors.
I cannot use the Windows VirtIO drivers, they do not work in Windows 2000.

I was able to create an VM using my old win2k cd no problem.
Display was 640x480. Moving it to 800x600 gave me a black screen.
