Hi,
I am analyzing a simple scenario of SIP message exchanges for call setup
between two SIP end-point and a sip proxy. The SIP signaling messages for call
setup are exchanged between two SIP end-points (using SIPp uac and uas) via the
openSER intermediary proxy.

Do you have a general sense of the general price range in which the dues
for associate members will fall?

Hmm - how is SRV failover supposed to work?
Does the SRV failover happens before entering the branch route or does
it happen transparent in tm module (thus not visible in kamailio.cfg)?

Thanks Henning, I think it was my error because problem disapeer when I

Hello again,
The uac_replace_from issue led me to another problem. The branch_route is not
always called even though I set it using t_on_branch everytime from
REQUEST_ROUTE and FAILURE_ROUTE. The failing scenario is as follows:
The call is routed to 2 domains (A,B) each with 2 SRV records (1,2).

Hi Alex,
Let me double check this. In our setup, this works properly (or at least
no problem known); and the from headers in the reply is right as well.
One difference may be, that we use uac_replace_from purely in
branch_route() and not in the request route itself.

Hello,
i'm still fighting with the very annoying lump model that OpenSER uses. I need
to send out INVITE's with different From headers in a failover situation.
More specifically I need to send out each step -original request and
failure_routes- with a different From header. If any request fork

So, I went to www.openser.org today and got a page claiming to be OpenSIPS
instead... looking back at the naming issue on this userslist I thought
perhaps there was another rename - but found no mention of it, and the
news page seem to indicate that OpenSIPS is a fork off of OpenSER project.

Hi,
It was because of my XCAP configuration fault.
I had the configuration file with value
root = http://192.168.176.143/
which caused the issue.
When I modified it to as follows,
root = http://192.168.176.143/xcap-root
it started working fine.
Thanks,

Hello everybody,
I think it is the time to move forward with project management
structure. During last days there were talks and discussions on the
lists, the solution to make the project independent and long term
trustable is to create a foundation.
We made a draft of purpose and organization

Selecting from the proposed list, I would pick 4) I do not like it.
However, I do not really care, just feel that it is a bad marketing name, not
carrying any meaning and hard to remember for people.

Hi,
I could configure Openser as RLS, and installed OpenXCAP.
I wanted to use OpenXCAP with EyeBeam Client. (version 1.5.10.2 build 33793)
OpenXCAP is giving the following error.

Hi Klaus,
Of course I agree. It's a matter of time to know what Kamailio stand
for. I think Apache is a nicer name than Kamailio, but anyway: I agree
the name is mainly a question of personal taste and currently I don't
like that taste - nevertheless,
