Hi Antoni,
We are using VMWare Server 2.0 with OpenNebula 1.4,
though not in production environment, but to manage
our test infrastructure and running our tests using
multiple VMs.
As you can see from the mailing list, we ran into
several issues and also had to modify code to fix
some issues. How
Hey everyone,
I'm interested in Open Nebula's QA infrastructure - the rspec stuff
especially, any docs, hudson support scripts ... Is there a repository
somewhere hosting those files ?
My goal is to try and reproduce this setup, at least partially, and add new
integration and functionality tests
Hi, I manage to setup OpenNebula with the ttylinux sample working within a
private network. When i created my own VM and run,
i cant seems to ping or ssh into it. I have already install ssh and open the
port 22 on the VM itself therefore i have no idea where it go wrong.
The log files did not show
Dear Sebastien,
This is great news indeed! Many thanks for your excellent
contributions, I am sure many people will find this useful for
production deployments.
Best regards,

Hi,
I installed opennebula (opennebula-2.0.1-1) with the rpm package on
opensuse 11.3 and I run into strange problems.
When I try to deploy a vm to a host, (I run all stuff on localhost)
opennebula builds the
/srv/cloud/var/13/ directory with root permissions:

I just downloaded a small image from http://wiki.qemu.org/Download :
http://wiki.qemu.org/download/linux-0.2.img.bz2
It boots without any problem and I am able to connect it with VNC and to
access to the shell...
So let's say that the problem comes from ttylinux image under some
conditions ... Wher
Hi Christophe,
yes you can, without a problem: onehost create localhost im_kvm vmm_kvm tm_nfs

So I installed all in the same host, and the problem is the same. VM can not
really boot due to an error in LILO.
Is it a problem with KVM/QEMU or something like that? What I understand is
that my processor is quite old and do not support virtualization. So qemu is
used for that right (host informa
Ok thanks, that is what I am thinking too.
So, the question is : Can I run both Front and Node on the same host? I
think so, but can you confirm?

Hi Christophe,
Your deployment file seems correct.

We are thinking the problem might be that. In order to discard that
possibility, c

Hello
I want to install opennebula with wmware server 2.0
I have seen in the Mailing list that this combination gives many
problems.
Also I see that is not tested from
OpenNebula:http://lists.opennebula.org/htdig.cgi/users-opennebula.org/2009-August/000727.html
Is anyone using vmware server and
Hi Christophe,
If I understand correctly you're trying with the ttylinux image at:
http://dev.opennebula.org/attachments/download/170/ttylinux.tar.gz
correct?
I have downloaded it again and tested it and it works for me. Could it
be that yout image is corrupt?
The md5sum should be:
04c7d00e88fa66
I would like to try to ask again, if I might.

We currently have an OpenNebula 2.0 installation and would like to
utilize the qcow images in out testbed (even with the NFS setup, copying
of 5-10 Gb images just does not provide the elasticity that we need).
