The current ldap_auth module is assuming that the username is the same as the
LDAP dn entry. In more complex LDAP installations this is often not the case
and LDAP authentication is a bit more complicated:
* Bind as a dedicated "search LDAP user"
* Search the directory tree for the username

With that template you can use any (well most) vnc clients to connect to you

to only accept connections from localhost. If you want to co
Hi!
Is there any way to attach console or vncviewer to VM if VM has no X and

Hello,
Have you started the OpenNebula daemon in the front-end? The CLI tries to
interact with it, and you get this problem if the CLI can't reach it.
$ one start
If you have already started it or you get an error from this command, you
can check it in $ONE_LOCATION/var/oned.conf
Hope this helps
Hi,
I am also having this issue. The error message is also a bit obscure (what is
unable to connect to where? The frontend to the node?). I am guessing I am
missing some configuration from the network interfaces. The guide is very brief
about configuring the bridges. I'd appreciate an example t

Cheers

Dear list,
I am observing the strange behaviour. After VM creation with use of
'onevm create ' command on front-end machine 'onevm list'
shows that VM is running but 'xm list' on the cluster node doesn't show
any VM.
According to xend.log domain has been created but right after that for

Then you should explore whether Xen provides some sort of central IDS
for its domUs (like shype?). OpenNebula does not pr
Hi!
I noticed that update from 2.0 to 2.0.1 (rpm was downloaded from
http://dev.opennebula.org/attachments/download/270/opennebula-2.0.1-1.i386.rpm)
replaced the existing /etc/one/oned.conf.
Is it expected behaviour? I guess it would be more referable way to keep
the previous config instead
